Arts and Crafts For Christmas |
Christmas is the season for joy and merriment. The bedazzling lights and other aspects of Christmas starts with Advent and continues for a couple of days even after Christmas. Small children can do many decorative articles and Christmas craft projects for kids help them to understand the festival better.
Some Christmas craft projects for kids are described below. They will make the children happy and the decorations can be enjoyed by everybody.
Reindeer Candy Holder
Materials:
- Small baby food jar
- Construction paper
- 2 small twigs
- Wiggle eyes
- Pom-poms
- Glue
Method:
- Cut two ear shapes out of the construction paper
- Cut out a piece of construction paper to wrap round the jar
- Gather the bottom straight edge of the ear to make it look like a diamond shape
- Attach the ears and twigs to the jar
- Add the pom-pom and the wiggle eyes
Reindeer Food
Materials:
- 6 cups full Crispix cereal
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 12 oz chocolate chips
- powdered sugar (half cup or more to taste)
Method:
- Melt the chocolate chips on low fire
- Once melted add the peanut butter
- Mix well
- After cooling pour over Crispix cereal
- Allow five minutes for the ingredients to sit
- Pour in a Ziploc bag that contains the powdered sugar and shake to cover the cereal
