For making a crochet Christmas candle you will need crochet hook (size G), any 4 ply worsted weight yarn in white, red and green, empty toilet tissue roll. The crochet design is fairly simple and anybody can make this provided they have time in their hands. The candle will be about six inches tall and look gorgeous.
The other types of Christmas candles are equally great. If you have small colored containers at home you can fill them up with hot melted wax with wicks. Let the wax settle. Wrap the container with gaily-colored paper. If you want you can make aromatic candles in the same manner. Just use geranium or lavender or rose oil in the wax.
