In a world where consumerism is the order of the day, it is a near impossible prospect to opt for a Frugal Christmas. More difficult would it be to make the kids of the contemporary era understand the real essence of Christmas.

Instead of buying all the stuffs from the stores, one can easily cut down on a lot of expenses by opting for home made items. Christmas Card Wreaths that are sold at cut throat prices in lead stores, can easily be made at home with old Christmas Cards and the Christmas Tree Showers can easily be made by wrapping matchboxes in glitter wrappers.
Reach out to the poor and the needy this Christmas. Whatever little you saved by observing a Frugal Christmas, could be handed over to a charity organization. Christmas is as much theirs as it is ours.
