Christmas day is celebrated world wide with great pomp and show on the 25th of December. Christmas morning on the 25th of December is preceded by Christmas Eve on the 24th of December. Children eagerly wait for this Christmas morning, as this is the time when they get gifts from Santa. Santa Claus distributes, gifts chocolates and toffees on the Christmas Day in the morning.
In the morning of Christmas day, children hurriedly get up early and see underneath their pillows if there are any gifts. Usually parents keep the gifts for children in the night so that when they get up in the morning, they become happy to receive those gifts.

Christmas morning activities include various customs that have been followed for ages and will be followed for ages to come. Christmas celebrations often include the remembrance of Jesus Christ’s birth with numerous customs, some of which have been taken from other winter festivals. Customs comprise of the adornment of Christmas trees, demonstration of Nativity scenes, the exchange of cards and gifts, and the appearance of Santa Claus (Father Christmas) on Christmas morning or Christmas Eve.
