Story telling is an art, which becomes even more beautiful on a Christmas Eve. December 24, the day before Christmas is considered to be the Christmas Eve. This day is equally important as any other day of Christmas celebration. It makes the beginning of Christmas Day.
This is the day when Christmas tree is decorated and all other preparations for the celebration are completed. This day is often observed as a half workday.

Many Christians traditionally celebrate a mass at midnight on Christmas Eve, marking the beginning of Christmas Day. Other churches hold a candlelight service earlier in the evening. So, telling a Christmas Eve Story in a Candle lit room would be an ideal way to bring the Christmas spirit home.
Telling a Christmas Eve Story by setting a bonfire in the center or in a dimly lit room would make the listeners nostalgic about the events of the story and no doubt, Christmas spirits will visit them in their dreams so that they would begin the Christmas Day next morning all anew.
