“A Christmas Story’ House refers to the house in which the film ‘A Christmas Story’ was shot. ‘A Christmas Story’ is a film by Bob Clark based on the story written by Jean Shepherd. It was released in 1983 soon after the time of thanks giving.
The film is about the kid Ralphie Parker who only wants one thing this Christmas: an official Red Ryder, carbine action BB gun. Every one tells him that he will shoot his eye out and this forms the storyline of ‘A Christmas story’. The story actually begins with this desire of the little boy who tries every conceivable way to get what he really wants for Christmas.

Now days, the house is in process of being restored for the original appearance in the movie. It has been planned to change the house into museum so that people can revisit the memory of film by a live mean other than the silver or TV screen. For this, furniture that exactly matches with those in the movie is also being in search.
‘A Christmas Story’ House museum would house items from the movie and more than 100 behind the scene photos. The house is located just outside down town Cleveland, Ohio.
