As a tribute to their stupendous popularity, many a books have been written on the subject and with Christmas round the corner you are likely to find loads of books in the lead stores dealing with the same. We have short-listed the recipes of a few Christmas punches, for the convenience of all the punch lovers. Hope you enjoy preparing and drinking them.
Coconut and Raspberry Punch
Ingredients:
500ml coconut milk
60ml white rum
280ml raspberry coulis
40ml raspberry liqueur
2 tablespoons sugar cane syrup
1 lime
4 raspberries for decoration
Procedure:
Mix sugar cane syrup, rum and coconut milk in a cocktail shaker. To add to the taste
grate a little zest from the lime. Serve in highball glasses and garnish with raspberries, slices of lime or long strips of zest.
Evergreen Mint Punch
Ingredients:
Half-gallon vanilla ice cream softened
4 cups milk
1 cup green crème de menthe
Optional Candy canes or Andes mints
Procedure:
Mix half- gallon ice cream, creme de menthe and milk and keep stirring until it reaches a fluid consistency. Let scoops of vanilla float on punch. Season with candy canes and Andes mints and serve.
