You must have heard about the Italian famous dessert biscotti that look extremely elegant and delicious. During Christmas we do get indulge in too much eating and is the perfect time to taste every bit of the delicacies left to overwhelm us. To prepare the dessert we need to have vegetable oil, white sugar, flour, eggs, baking powder and anise extract. Take a glass bowl and beat together oil, eggs, sugar and anise extract until it gets perfectly blended. Now put in the flour and baking powder to form heavy dough. Divide the dough into two pieces and form rolls as long as the cookie sheets. Let the dough bake for 25 to 30 minutes until it becomes golden brown. After the cookies gets cooler slice them out into crosswise pieces and then again place them in the baking sheet for an additional baking for 10 minutes.
