Christmas Town and is readily impressed with the idea of Christmas. He decides that the residents of Halloween will celebrate Christmas this year instead of Halloween and makes the goblins and the bats prepare for the celebration. For this he kidnaps Santa and plans that he himself will deliver the gifts to the children, however, everything turns out in a total fiasco.
The Nightmare Before Christmas movie was released in 1993, but its appeal is undying, so it still tops the charts of the popular Christmas movies. The movie captured the imagination of millions with its story and the delineation of the characters, which was done by Tim Burton, and brilliant screenplay by Caroline Thompson. The music of the movie by Danny Elfman, with some of the brilliant songs like “This is Halloween” and “Jack Lament” moved the nation and it also got nominated for the Grammy awards. The major casting crew include, Chris Sarandon who lend his voice to the protagonist Jack Skellington, Catherine O’Hara giving life to Shock and William Hickey enacting Dr. Frankelstein.
