A well-known tradition asserts Mary was born in Jerusalem, the daughter of Joachim and Ann. Other early sources say Mary was born in Nazareth.
There is even an ancient record that points to Sepphoris, a town a few miles from Nazareth, as her birthplace. Mary's life unfolded in the staunch Jewish settlement of Nazareth in the hills of Galilee, not far from the important caravan routes linking Egypt and Mesopotamia.
Mary started her life of consecration early, at about three, having been put there by her over-zealous parents. Her strength and the assistance of the Archangels permitted under a special dispensation by Lord Maitreya, enabled her to come out successfully. The Angels would often visit her during her childhood when she was alone, and instruct her. They were her conscious companions. Mary had much training in the Nature Temples where she learned to work with elemental life. She was responsible for bringing into existence the maiden-hair fern. Her embodiment as Mother of Jesus was in the divine plan long before she entered the physical realm. She went through a severe initiation at inner levels to test her strength some time before taking embodiment.
With the birth of Jesus, Mary and Jesus were aware of and communed with the Angels and Ascended Beings. Through His trials and Crucifixion, she was His stabilizing power. At the time of Ascension, she became the Cosmic Mother for all un-ascended mankind. Read
