Easter Candy Recipes

Easter candies are easy to make and are served at the Easter parties. So this Easter prepare lip smacking candies and surprise your near and dear ones.

Jell o Easter Candy Pudding Eggs:

Ingredients:

1 package (4 servings) Jell-O Instant Pudding
1/3 cups boiling water 75mL
1/3 cup margarine 75mL
3 cups sifted icing sugar 750mL
6 squares EACH Baker's WHITE and SEMI-SWEET Chocolate

Method:

Stir pudding, water and margarine in a large bowl until smooth.
Mix in sugar by cupfuls, stirring until mixture forms a ball. Form into 1 1/2 inch (3cm) egg shapes. Refrigerate until firm. Partially melt chocolate in separate bowls over hot water until 2/3 melted. Remove from heat and continue stirring until all chocolate is melted and smooth.
Dip eggs into chocolate; decorate with colored sprinkles or swirl icing over them, or child's name written on them or flowers or dots. Makes 24 eggs.

Chocolate Easter egg Candy

1 pound (about 3 3/4 cups) powdered sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons milk
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tablespoon margarine
1 tablespoon water
Cream 1/2 cup of margarine until soft. Add 2 teaspoons of milk, 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Gradually, add 1 pound of sugar mixing well after each addition. Shape into eggs about 2 inches long and 1 inch in diameter. Chill. Melt chocolate with 1 tablespoon of margarine and 1 tablespoon of water. Roll eggs in chocolate or cinnamon.
