Easter Dinner Recipes

Easter symbols are an essential part of the fiesta and are used in a variety of ways to represent the fiesta. The symbols include the cute Easter bunny and Easter eggs. The Easter bunny is the most significant part of the fiesta and is used in recipes like the cake that is made in the shape of the bunny and the like.

Cute Easter Cupcakes:



Ingredients:

12 Cup cakes lightly baked and frosted in any flavor
A pack of flaked coconut
3-6 drops of green food coloring
48 jelly beans

Method:

  • Put coconut along with a few drops of green food coloring in a big zip lock bag.


  • Shake the mixture well until the coconut becomes light green in color.


  • Press the green coconut on every cupcake until it holds on to the frosting.


  • Add in a few jellybeans on every cupcake.


  • Make an arch out of the pipecleaners and insert it into the cupcake so that it resembles a basket handle. Finally the cupcake should appear similar to the Easter basket.




Easter Bunny Cake:



Ingredients:

A box of Betty Crocker carrot cake mix
Water, vegetable oil, eggs and Cake mix box tray or cardboard covered with foil.
1 container of Betty Crocker's whipped fluffy white frosting
1 cup shredded coconut
Construction paper
Jelly beans or small gumdrops
1 cup shredded coconut
Green food color.

Directions:

  • Bake the cake in an oven at 350 degree F. cut the cake in the shape of a bunny. The various parts of the bunny's body that include the ears, eyes and the like need to be cut accordingly.


  • The halves need to be placed together in addition to the frosting to form the body. Put the cake in a tray placing it upright.


  • Make use of jellybeans for the eyes and nose of the bunny. Cut out one-third part of the body to form the head of the bunny. Garnish it with little coconut.


  • Shake up the coconut along with the food color in a jar. Make the bunny get engulfed with tinted coconut. You can add in additional jellybeans if required.
