The Nightmare Before Christmas is a poem by Tim Burton who wrote it while working as an animator at Disney in the early '80s. The Nightmare Before Christmas was then made into the first ever created full-length stop-motion animated film.
The Nightmare Before Christmas follows Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town as he decides to spread Christmas joy to the world after coming across the Christmas town. Jack, an elegant, spider-like skeleton, eventually envisions himself in the role of Sandy Claws, his malapropism for Santa. This puts Santa Claus in difficulty and creates a nightmare for all the kids. |
