- Delaware is a little short on land but it's long on water much of it borders the Atlantic Ocean. As a result, the southern beaches and beach towns are a big draw. All have sand and sea, but they are remarkably different ranging from tranquil stretches of protected shoreline to low- key resort towns to busy vacation centers such as the Rehoboth Beach.
- One of the popular cities of Delaware, Dover, the state capital, is located in the Kent country. Enlisted with a variety of hotels and luxury spas, Dover is a traveler's dream. The guest rooms are equipped with convenient accommodations with all the suites having coffee makers, microwaves and whirlpools.
- You can travel down to the North Atlantic with water sports and recreations like speed boating, canoeing or simply laze around for a sunbath in the pleasant waters in the maritime coastal climate.
- Bethany Beach, a friendly family town, abounds in holiday amenities such as picnics in the woods and some great restaurants in the small beautiful beach town. It has none of the craziness of Ocean City.
