A Family Guy Christmas Songs are all a part of the immensely popular Fox animated television series, A Family Guy that remains shrouded in controversy.
The series generated a mixed reaction among its viewers with one section alleging that the series had a penchant for the obscene and the outrageous and reflected bad taste and cheap humor. Its overindulgence with sensitive political issues, silly jokes on anti semitism, racial issues and sexual harassment topics incurred the displeasure of many and it was known to have held the second place on the Parents Television Council 2000 and 2005 lists for being the "worst prime-time shows for family viewing.
Parody versions
But strangely enough one of its songs "You've Got A Lot To See" received the Emmy Award for the Outstanding Music and Lyrics at the 2002. Most of its other songs are also quite popular and usually happen to be adaptations of old movie music videos or merely the parody versions of the same. A whole lot of examples can be provided on this front. So shed all your inhibitions and the song sung by Peter and the Cherrywood servants "This House is Freaking Sweet" was the parody versions of the song "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here from Annie", adaptations from the "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face" of My Fair Lady was sung by Stewie and Peter's song "I'm Gonna Make You Famous" happens to be a parody version of "Everything's Coming Up Roses" from the Gypsy: A Musical Fable.
