Chubby Snowman Stool

The ingredients are an oval wooden stool, White, Black,Blue Velvet, Spice Brown, Dark Forest Green, Adobe Red, Bittersweet Orange, Empire Gold and Maple Sugar Tan paints, angular, liner and scruffy brushes, transfer paper, stylus, spray satin varnish and Micron pen.

Paint top and edge of stool Wicker and the remainder Blue Velvet. Apply as many coats as necessary for good coverage. Allow to dry. Paint a checkerboard pattern around top and edge of stool, using flat brush and Blue Velvet. Draw the snowman design and trace onto top of stool using transfer paper. Paint snowman White and shade with Brown Spice. Paint scarf and tassels Settlers Blue and add Blue Velvet checkerboard pattern with narrow flat brush. Side-load angular shade with Black and add shadow around knot.

Cheeks are made with a worn out brush with splayed bristles. Begin with a dry brush; add just a bit of Burgundy paint and scrub most of it off on a dry paper towel. With just a bit of paint left on the brush, scrub snowman's cheek areas. Carrot nose is Bittersweet Orange, highlighted on top with Empire Gold and shaded on bottom with Adobe Red.
