Free Christmas projects for kids
- Making Christmas egg ornament is an enjoyable Christmas project that kids can make.
- To make the ornament, the materials required are transparent glossy liquid paint, eggs, large needle, enamel paint in different colors, macaroni, bamboo skewers, glue, paint brush and bell hooks.
- Puncture a hole on both ends of the eggs and blow out the contents on a bowl, keep it to dry overnight. Pass the bamboo skewer through the eggs and then dip it in the transparent glossy liquid paint.
- Allow it to dry for at least five hours.
- Towards the small end of the egg, glue a small hook.
- Now you can glue the pasta pieces around the egg, you can come up with some lovely patterns for this.
- After this, paint the eggs with the enamel colors that you have chosen; you can even use contrasting color tones on the edges of the macaroni glued to the eggs.
- If there are any unpainted macaroni left, you can brush it with the transparent paint and then the ornament is ready to be hung.
Free Christmas projects to sew
- To sew a holiday star ornament, you will need some fabrics, pen, sewing thread, needle, glue, batting and scissors. Draw a star on the fabric and cut out two identical pieces from the fabric.
- Place both the stars back to back and then sew it up using a thread which is of the same color as the fabric, leaving a small opening. In the opening, put the batting to stuff the star as fluffy as you will like it to make.
- Put a loop in the opening and sew it up again. Your sewn Christmas star ornament is ready to be hung on the Christmas tree.
Free Christmas projects for preschoolers
- Preschoolers can easily make some kissable Christmas balls as a holiday activity.
- To make the balls, you will need some foam balls of any desired size; boxwood springs which have been cut in varying sizes, berries, floral picks, oranges and ribbons.
- Cover the foam box fully with springs of boxwood. Stick the fresh oranges and berries into the floral picks and put them randomly through out the greenery around the foam ball.
- If there are any bare spots left, cover them up with the berries and make a loop with the ribbons to hang it up.
