Christmas provides a wonderful opportunity for teachers to engage their students in learning about things in a fun way. An easy way to retain their interest in school at that time is through some Christmas project for school activity. The projects are a fun activity for them where they not only get to create new things but also get to do that with their classmates. It is a great way to experience new things and foster a beautiful bond with their friends at school. Teachers must just make sure, that they choose activities where children will learn new things, develop their creative talents and at the same time have lots of fun doing it.
Christmas projects for students
- Making a shining Christmas wish list is a simple Christmas project for students.
- The craft materials needed to make this wish list are glue, glitter, magazines, markers, colored paper, toy catalogue and a scissor.
- Give each student a large sheet of the colored paper, get plenty of them in attractive colors; remember kids love colors!
- Now, tell them to trace glue around the border of the paper, and use the glitter to make some lovely decorations.
- At the top of the page, they kids can write ‘My List’ with the glitter or the marker as they wish.
- Next, they can cut out the toys that they love from the toy catalogue, magazine and paste it on the sheet.
- Encourage them to include toys of various shape, sizes, and colors. While doing this, you can introduce them to the new colors and shapes.
Christmas projects for middle school
- Making Christmas wrapping paper is a fun activity which students love to do.
- It is very easy to make the gifts and all you need is some plan easel papers, assortment of cookie cutters in various shapes and complimentary colors; it can be red and white, red and green etc.
- Put a little amount of color on small plastic plates and give all of them some of the cookie cutters. The students can now dip the cutters, on the paint and then press it on to the paper.
- They can fill up the entire page, with prints of various shapes and sizes in different colors. After the prints have dried up, the wrapping paper is ready to be used!
Christmas project of children
- Let the children paint some tees as part of their Christmas project. For this you will need some tee-shirts in a single color and fabric paints in different colors.
- Pour the paints in a bowl and ask the children to dip their hands in the color, next get them to press their colored hands on the tee-shirts for some lovely hand prints.
- Some of them may even want to write down names, help them with it. Remember this is a messy project, so be prepared to deal with the consequences.
- You must do this craft in an open space and one teacher will have to look out and ensure that the children do not smear the walls with paint. After the project is finished, make sure that they clean up properly.
