Simple Christmas Projects for kids

  • The ribbon card is a simple Christmas project; it just can’t get any simpler than this. To make this craft the kid will need a blank card, ribbon, glue and die cut shapes.

  • Make a lovely bow with the ribbon, if the child is too young to do this, you can help him/her out.

  • Now, paste the ribbon to the card with glue and keep it aside for sometime to let it dry.

  • Cut way the ends and then glue the die cut shape at the centre of the card.

  • This card made by the kid can be sent to close family and friends, they will appreciate it.

Creative Christmas Projects for kids

  • Making Christmas bow is another project that kids will surely enjoy. To make the bow, kids will need scissors, ribbon rolls and floral wire.

  • Lay down ribbons of two types, one on top of the other. Pinch the ribbon to make a loop and hold it together by pressing your fingers tightly at the end of the loop.

  • Make a half coil with the ribbon in such a way that the top ribbon of the second loop is the same the top ribbon of the first loop. Make the second loop as before, make then similar in size by pulling and adjusting with your fingers.

  • As mentioned before, keep making the coils; make as many as you want to put in the bow.
  • Now cut the ribbon from the roll, but make sure to leave some tail.

  • Put a floral wire around the inside of the various layers in the centre of the bow.

  • Make sure that the wire ends at the back of the bow, so that you can cut off the excess wire.

  • Now, spread out the loops and try to ruffle the layers for a nice, elegant look and bow is ready now!

Religious Christmas Projects for kids

  • The religious Christmas projects are a wonderful way to introduce your child to the religious aspect of the celebrations.

  • You can tell the kid stories about Jesus, about how he was born, why Christmas is celebrated, what the stories behind it are etc. Allow the kid to help you in making a star or an angel.

  • Later, you can use this as the tree topper and also explain to them the significance of using the toppers.

  • Allow the child to do their bit in making a crib for Jesus; they can help you in collecting the straw to be put inside.

  • On Christmas day, they can help you in putting up the image of the infant Jesus on the crib.
