Christmas Projects for High School

Christmas is that magical time, when everything around us transforms for the better. For students, this can be a tough time if the have to work on course related activities. However, Christmas projects high school is a good way to help them enjoy the holiday season by doing fun activities. There are a variety of things that they can make through the projects; it is also an excellent way to bring forth their creative qualities. Teachers should make the classroom a fun place, for all kids as the holiday season approaches. They must come up with interesting activities to introduce them, to new aspects and at the same time the kids will get to create some new crafts.

Christmas projects for middle school

Making a holiday star is a good Christmas project for kids in middle school.

To make the star the student will need the following: graph paper, newspaper, colored tissue paper, ruler, scissors, glue, string, five chopsticks of identical sizes, scrap yarn, glossy appliqué and marker.

Draw five stars on the graph paper and lay the chopsticks on the top of each pattern, then tie the stick together at each of the five points.

Make a loop at the top of the star to hang it wherever the child wishes to. Tie another five points at the point, where the sticks intersect and cut out two square pieces of tissue paper.

Now, the child can apply glue to the whole top surface of the star, place one tissue paper square over the star. Do not miss out any of the points, press them softly into place and let it dry for sometime.

Apply the glittering star appliqués at the middle of each star with a little glue and the star is ready. A good idea will be to create a star to be hung in each room of the house.

Geometry Christmas project

There are lots of fun involved in doing geometry Christmas projects. Many students dread geometry and that is why, it is a good idea to introduce the topic and various aspects related to it while doing Christmas activities.

For example, they can be introduced to the geometric figure triangle by letting them either draw a few of them or by making stars with straw.

To make the shapes students can use chopsticks, matchsticks, toothpicks, straw or any other things that are available. Any new thing which is introduced to the kids, with a fun concept will be well received by them, even if they are traditionally considered as boring topics.

Christmas projects for classrooms

With the approach of the holiday season, kids find it difficult to concentrate on their students. At this time, the onus is on the teacher to incorporate some high school Christmas projects in the class, so that the kids actually look forward to taking part in that.

Let them make Christmas crafts which they can use for decorating the school and the Christmas tree there for the holidays. Some of them will even want to, carry it back home and decorate their home with it.
