The Radio City Music Hall at Rockefeller Center is nicknamed the Showplace of the Nation, for it never manages to disappoint. The opening was meant to be a return to high class variety entertainment. When it first started out in 1933, unfortunately, the show was not a success. The Rockettes are the team of women's dance team stationed in Manhattan. The Rockettes women have been said to have performed 4 shows a day, for 52 weeks at a stretch for more than 50 years.
