Christmas decorations are incomplete without the lights. Edward H. Johnson who was an associate of Thomas Edison, the inventor is considered to be the father of Electric Christmas Light. Earlier candles were used for decorating a house as well as a Christmas tree at the time of Christmas
festival. With time these candles got replaced by the artificial lights, which have now become an important part of the Christmas decorations. The Christmas Festival Lights are lights that can be used for indoor, outdoor decorations and can even. be used for decorating a Christmas tree.
The types of Christmas Festival Lights are:
Rope lights- These lights are a flexible, bendable tube of lights with which doors windows and the side of a house can be framed. These lights are specially designed for those people who prefer a movement in their Christmas decorations as these lights either emit a glow or come in chasing patterns.
LED lights- LED lights generate less heat than any other light and they also last for a long time
Icicle Lights- The Icicle lights consist of a multiple string of lights hanging down from a main cord of Christmas lights to give the illusion of icicles. They are composed of small white bulbs and are of different lengths These lights are usually strung along eaves or overhang to give a wintry feel.
Net lights- Net lights are woven mesh nets of lights useful for wrapping around shrubs, edges, and small tress. So net lights can be used for decorating the Christmas tree.
