Their Christmas album was released on November 10, 1998 by RCA music. The tracks include Under My Tree, Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire, I Guess It's Christmas Time and other favorites.
Home is the last place to be at Christmas: N Sync was on a taut touring program in 1998, that it's a conjecture they even had time to record the disc in time for the holidays. The standard carols are superseded by the cappella version of "O Holy Night" which is by far the masterpiece, and proof of the boys' flair. In fact, their superbly blended harmonies set aside what could have been luckless endeavors to put a '90s R and B twist on songs like "In Love on Christmas" and the title track. "The Only Gift" and "Under My Tree" are addictive regardless of being endearing, and you'll find it difficult forgetting "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays".
