Angel Christmas history is a riveting account of the role they played in the birth of Jesus Christ. The Greek meaning of angel is messenger. They are considered to be immortal and their wings symbolize purity, virtue and innocence. The angels form a link, or act as intermediaries between God

and men. It is believed that the humans have Guardian Angels who look after them and protect them in times of hardship.
From Angel Christmas history we find that there are nine ranks of angels in Heaven. Seraphim and Cherubim angels are on top position with other angels in lower ranks. Mary, the Holy Mother got divine news from Gabriel that she is going to bear God’s son. It is also believed that God had appointed tiny angels to look over Joseph and Mary on their way to Bethlehem.
The angels were beside themselves with joy when they got the news of the birth of God’s son. They flew all over singing sweetly and it could be heard from all corners of the earth. We have a beautiful hymn “Hark The Herald Angels Sing”. This hymn is played in all church choirs in the Christmas season.
