With a minimum of effort, you can renovate a plain cardboard box into a shiny, flying machine that your child can dress in. Christmas Carnivals offers information on Christmas Airplane-From-a-Box Costume. You’ll need: large corrugated cardboard box, utility knife, metallic spray paint duct tape, aluminum foil, paper fastener and plastic wrap to make this craft in less than an hour. Cut out a rectangle on the top of the box big enough for your child’s head.
Prevent the costume from slipping off the shoulders. To make the airplane costume, paint the entire box with metallic spray paint so that it looks like a flying machine.
For the propellers, cut two strips out of cardboard and cover them with aluminum foil.
