Christmas Decorations in Chicago

Chicago, the largest inland city of the USA, housing the world-renowned shopping, dining, museums, architecture, and theater centers, is transformed to city of wonderland during Christmas. It features more than 40 timber cabins that serve as booths for the visitors to taste special Christmas food. Based on famous Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt, it draws several visitors.

Mention must be made of Marshall Field's department store on State Street, which is famous for its Christmas displays. If you are looking for a magnificent light show then walking up to the Magnificent Mile of North Michigan Avenue is a good idea. The malls, and stores are suffused with the glory of Christmas decorations.

Concerts, & theatres with the mesmerizing performances add to the fervor of the season. The hotels, restaurants, eating joints etc also leave no stone unturned in their Christmas decorations. The preparations start well in advance, each and every detail is looked after to ensure that guests have a whale of a time.

The other attractions in Chicago during this time are Lincoln Park Zoo, Museum of Science and Industry and Chicago Botanic Garden, which too gear up for the occasion.
