The White Christmas movie is a the story is based around two World War II U.S. Army friends, one a former Broadway entertainer, Bob Wallace, and a would-be entertainer, Phil Davis.
It has the famous Christmas carol 12 days of Christmas by Bing Crosby. The movie was released in 1954. An animated version of the story with Bing Crosby singing the carol was released in 1999.
Therefore it can truly be called 12 day of Christmas picture.
The movie is about how Bob Wallace and Phil Davies make it big in nightclubs and then on Broadway. 12 day of Christmas picture is fun filled and with moments of rib tickling laughter. While in Florida, they receive a letter from "Freckle-Faced Haynes, the dog-faced boy", a mess sergeant they knew in the war, asking them to audition his two sisters. When they go to the club to audition the act, Betty reveals that her sister, Judy sent the letter. Using the wounded arm, Phil gets Bob to agree to travel with them to Vermont for the holidays. They discover that the Columbia Inn in Pine Tree, Vermont, is run by their former commanding officer, Major-General Tom Waverly, and it's about to go bankrupt because of the lack of snow and consequent lack of patrons.
12 day of Christmas picture is about how these two eventually turn producers. In a memorable finale, Bob and Betty fall in love, as do Phil and Judy.
